Birmingham 9th June - Rob uses Jamie Davidsons Car

Car Facts:- This was the second Elite car built by Terry George and said to be by many as the fastest F1 car ever built, the first was built for Rob while it was good on shale it proved to be to heavy. The second car was buit with the help of Cecil Sayers, for Jamie Davidson. Jamie wasn't having much look with it so approched Frankie Wainman for help. After selling his FWJ tarmac car now used by Gary Castell (247) Rob took over the 464 car, working with Cecil they have got the car setup how Rob like's it. The front end was changed back to a four link setup, the wheelbase is the same the original car 96 inches. This car was built under the minimum weight limit, allowing for strategic ballast to gain optimum static corner weights before the coils are tweaked. Coil overs are Leda units claimed to be the best by George. The Engine is a small block prepared by Performance Unlimited. The Transit axles both mount on four links with Panhard bars for transverse location, but the rear unit features the Falding (33) modifications with gun drilled half shafts.
